Get plugged in!
Volunteering is a great way to Connect, Learn, Give, and Grow here at Net Community Church! We believe that "many hands make light work" and we hope that if you have not joined a team, you will consider doing so! Here is a highlight of our volunteer teams for you to review. Come get to know us and join a team!
The Net Kids Team
Our five Net Kids classes are broken down by babies, toddlers, preschoolers, Elementary 1 (kindergarten, 1st grade and 2nd grade), and Elementary 2 (3rd, 4th & 5th grade). Volunteers are either teachers or classroom assistants. Minimal preparation is required, arrival time is 20 minutes before the start of service (8:40am or 10:25am) and the rewards are priceless.
Youth (ages 6th-12th grade) can also serve on this team. *This is currently our biggest volunteer need.

Team LeadsTeam leads help our services go smoother. They are responsible for reminding volunteers of their serving date as well as finding replacements for their week as needed. Team Leads pray with their team before service, help with check-in and are there to troubleshoot any issues that arise during service.

TeachersTeachers lead the classroom during service. Lessons look different from classroom to classroom but training and an easy-to-use curriculum are provided to set you up for success. Teachers are also responsible for tidying up the room at the end of service to prepare it for future use.

Classroom AssistantsClassroom Assistants are so incredibly helpful in our Net Kids rooms. They may assist the teacher in handing out lesson supplies or help with classroom management by helping students stay focused.

The Worship Team
The Worship Team is made up of the vocalists and musicians that lead our Sunday worship. This team often serves weekly with a start time of 7:45am and requires skill and prep work. In order to keep the worship services identical, they often serve for both services in a row. If you play an instrument, we would love to know!

Prayer & Care Teams (with Faith Community Health)
The Prayer Team operates mostly through email, with occasional in-person meetings. The focus is to humbly seek and pray over the needs of the church, community, nation and our world.
Prayer and RecoveryIn addition to prayer, the Care Team helps to follow up with pastoral care (which may equal meals, visits and follow-up).
