The group strategy at Net Community Church exists to help every person grow into a fully equipped disciple of Jesus. We believe discipleship happens best in community, and our groups are designed to help people belong, mature, and be prepared to live out their faith.
Our groups meet in a variety of formats, on a range of topics, and at locations in and around Staunton. No matter the setting, every group is centered on Scripture and committed to learning, growing, and encouraging one another as we follow Jesus together. Whether you are new to the faith, seeking to deepen your understanding of Scripture, or simply looking to be encouraged by others, there is a group for you.
We organize our groups into three clear categories, each with a distinct purpose in the discipleship journey:
Vision for Groups at Net
The Great Commission is a Jesus-given mandate calling us to make disciples of all nations. A disciple is a fully devoted follower of Jesus whose life is shaped by His character and mission. Disciples are equipped and deployed to make a transforming difference in homes, workplaces, schools, communities, and the world. This is our calling as a church.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

These groups focus on connection and relationships, creating space to do life together, build trust, and experience biblical community. - Growth Groups help you mature.
These groups emphasize spiritual formation, accountability, and ongoing growth as you deepen your walk with Jesus. - Equipping Groups help you prepare.
These are short-term, focused studies designed to provide biblical tools, practical training, and intentional learning to help you live out your faith and join God in His mission.
Vision for Groups at Net
- To CONNECT every person at Net Community Church to the process of discipleship.
- To LEARN in key areas such as missions, evangelism, family, biblical foundations, prayer, and godly leadership.
